MorInvolved is a public-spirited outreach program designed by StoneMor Inc. to help our company give back to communities and local charities. Through collecting donations, volunteering and team building, MorInvolved fosters engagement, recognition and a positive community outlook for our employees to create a lasting relationship between our workplace and our communities.

This year looks a little different for most organizations collecting gifts or donations for the holidays.

MorInvolved is honored to donate $400 in gift cards, and other donations items to our community partner Ivins Outreach Center. Ivins Outreach supports Toys for Tots and Supplemental gifts for the community in need during the holiday.

Lower Bucks Shop with a Cop Program

MorInvolved donated $600 in gift cards and two fleece blankets towards the Lower Bucks Shop with a Cop Program with the Middletown Township Police department. This program helps families facing challenging financial times during the holiday season.


The program is designed to help provide fresh groceries, designated holiday shopping with a cop; not only do the children have the opportunity to shop for themselves but they can shop for gifts for their family members as well, they accept blanket donations to keep families warm.

West Coast Wildfire Support

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to all of the people affected by the wildfires along the west coast. The loss of one's home and the loss of community is something no one should ever have to experience. MorInvolved has collected a way to help those rebuild, by providing the link to our employees and followers to donate to the American Red Cross. StoneMor also conducted an internal GoFund me for our employees affected by this tragedy.

For the Month of December MorInvolved conducted a gift drive for the local Giving Tree and Toys for Tots. Employees had fun shopping for gifts for families in need this holiday season.

Toys for Tots Donations

After donating gifts to the Giving Tree and Toys for Tots we volunteered to help fulfill wishes for local families and children by picking out gifts for children and packaging them for parents to them pick up.

Sunday Breakfast Mission Thanksgiving Dinner Donations

Departments worked together to collect Thanksgiving food donations for Sunday Breakfast Mission. Thank you to our employees for their generous donations helping the homeless have a hearty Thanksgiving meal for the holidays.

StoneMor contributed 5 turkeys and one of our vendors was generous enough to stop by to drop off a few turkeys along with a few employees! All together donating 10 Turkeys!

Adopt A Room at A Woman's Place Shelter

MorInvolved has adopted a room in A Woman's Place Shelter for our 3rd year! By adopting a room, we are able to provide several families a newly decorated bedroom and living space with new bedding, curtains, painted walls and decor. Once the family is ready to leave the shelter, they are able to take these items with them to help them. The photo shows what the rooms look like prior to us Adopting the rooms, allowing A Woman's Place to decorate and fix up these rooms at the shelter.

Through the month of October, our employees have made generous food donations for A Woman's Place to stock up on their food pantry! Thank you to those who have helped us support these women and their families during difficult times.

5th Annual MorScholars Scholarship Award Ceremony

Friends, family and school representatives gathered to honor 18 students from 18 different Archdiocese of Philadelphia schools for our MorScholars 5th annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony! Fox29's Bob Kelly joined us as our MC for the event at Roman Catholic High School - Howard Center of the Arts. Congratulations to the students who have received these scholarships!

Walk to END ALZ - Alzheimer's Association

On Sunday, November 10th, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic Cemeteries managers joined MorInvolved at one of the world's biggest events, a Walk to END Alzheimer's! We enjoyed meeting our community members and organizations that help make this day possible to raise awareness and funds for people living with Alzheimer's, caretakers and ALZ research.

MorInvolved sponsored the walk and held a table with plenty of nice giveaways for the attending guests. Volunteers enjoyed the walk around the Citizens Bank Park parking lot through the inside of the stadium as many volunteers cheered the walkers on along the way.

Paint the Town Purple - A Woman's Place

MorInvolved and A Woman's Place Painted The Town Purple in Bristol for Domestic Violence Awareness Month! We hung purple ribbons to raise awareness to the community to help keep friends, family and neighbors safe & healthy. AWP posts ribbons and signs in Doylestown, Bristol, and Quakertown throughout the month of October.

Hurricane Dorian Disaster Relief

Hurricane Dorian ripped through the Bahamas and continued to impact the eastern United States. This storm caused significant damage; loss of life, homes destroyed. MorInvolved organized a 50/50 raffle to raise money for Red Cross Hurricane Dorian relief efforts. The humanitarian efforts of the Red Cross provide comfort and hope to so many during their times of need. We'd like to thank our employees who contributed to that very important work.

Backpack-A-Thon

MorInvolved joined Cradles to Crayon's Backpack-A-Thon on August 15th at Lincoln Financial Field. 35,000 backpacks are filled assembly-line style with all new school supplies a child needs to be ready to learn. Five backpacks of different colors are put in plastic bags and then picked up by nonprofit social service partners directly from the site and distributed to local children within days. This high-energy event is fueled by energetic, spirit, friendly competition and provides an incredible opportunity for corporate engagement and team building.

Cradles to Crayons Back to School Cards

Employees, friends, and family members made 202 encouraging back-to-school cards for Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia BackPack-A-Thon. Each card is placed in one of the backpacks provided to children living in poverty. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to help put a smile on a child's face when they receive their backpack and greeting card inside! These cards add a personal touch to the backpacks provided to the children.

MDA Summer Camp Carnival

We had a blast at the MDA Summer Camp Carnival! Campers enjoyed our fish bowl game toss and variety of prizes to choose from along with the many other games and activities at the carnival, including painting, getting a ride on motorcycles, Rita's Water Ice and other snacks! Thank you to the MDA of Greater Philadelphia for inviting us to join your carnival day!

MDA Summer Camp Donations

Each summer, thousands of kids attend life-changing, overnight camps around the U.S. — the MDA Summer Camp is at no cost to their families. MorInvolved by StoneMor has collected donations of a variety of snacks and beverages donations at our home office. The Greater Philadelphia MDA Summer Camp has about 65 campers this summer, we were happy to lend a helping hand and provide snack and beverage donations for the campers. Thank you to our employees for donating these items for the campers at the MDA Summer Camp!

MDA Muscle Walk

On Saturday, June 8th, supporters, caregivers, friends and family came together in support of those with muscular dystrophy. MorInvolved was honored to support the MDA Muscle Walk of Greater Philadelphia area by sponsoring a table, conducting a craft table with the children and walking to support those with muscular dystrophy. Donations will help save and improve the lives of kids and adults with muscle-debilitating diseases. Because of these generous donations, the MDA can:

  • Fund research breakthroughs across diseases
  • Care for kids and adults from day one
  • Empower families in hometowns across America with services and support to live longer and grow stronger.

DV3 Flag Placing Event

This past weekend (June 7-9), the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic Cemeteries & MorInvolved by StoneMor were honored to sponsor and volunteer with the Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans organization for our third year. We helped remember those unaccounted by planting flags in memory of an American soldier killed or POW/MIA during the Vietnam War. This inspirational display features more than 65,000 American flags in the shape and size of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, DC. We also invited guests to stop by our tent for light refreshments, soft pretzels, giveaways and more. We're so thankful for the opportunity to show our appreciation for those who serve and have served our country!

Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day

Thursday, April 25th is Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day! On this day, we welcomed our employees' children to participate in a wide-range of career and learning opportunities presented by our different departments. Each department's participation included a presentation and activity with the children to help the children better understand each department's function within StoneMor while making it fun to learn. Parents joined their children for lunch and for an afternoon treat of Mister Softee Ice Cream!

Autism Awareness Puzzle Pieces

To further grow Autism awareness, MorInvolved raised funds by selling puzzle pieces to be displayed on our garden-level wall. We asked employees to write an encouraging message to someone with Autism.

All proceeds were donated to Autism Speaks.

Paint Party at Nemours Child Life Clubhouse

On March 22, MorInvolved held its second annual paint event at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in the Child Life Clubhouse! Volunteers from StoneMor and Fox29's Bob Kelly came to visit and paint with the kids. Many children gathered in the new clubhouse for the painting session to create their very own beautiful canvas art!

During this special event, MorInvolved delivered a number of new blankets and no-sew, fleece-knot blankets for children at the hospital. The kids were excited to pick out their blankets. We enjoyed our time with the children and look forward to continuing our support of Nemours

Blankets for Nemours!

On March 15, 2019, volunteers took time out of their busy schedules to make comfortable, no-sew fleece blankets for children at Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children.

We are proud to partner with Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children. MorInvolved conducted a 50/50 where proceeds are donated to Nemours. We also collected new children's blankets: bright, peaceful, uplifting, color fabrics and prints for boys and girls of all ages (0-16).

Some children spend a lot of time in the hospital and by providing nice gifts, such as fun blankets, we can give some comfort and make their stay a little cozier. See more photos from this event on Facebook!

Blankets for Nemours!

Women's Animal Center Volunteer Event

On February 14 & 15, MorInvolved volunteers joined us at the Women's Animal Center.

Volunteers brushed cats and kittens, cleaned treat containers, filled treat containers, prepared food in KONGs for the dogs, and of course, the most rewarding part was spending some time with our furry friends after our duties were complete!

Women's Animal Center Donation Drive

MorInvolved collected a number of generous donations to our local Women's Animal Center! Donations ranging from dog food, cat food, cat/kitten/dog treats, bones, newspaper, towels, heavy-duty dog toys, and cat toys. Our contribution can make it possible for second chances, providing for happy homes and for pets to find their forever families.

Cradles to Crayons Kid Packs

On January 18th, MorInvolved volunteered at the Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia warehouse to help fulfill items for KidPacks.

KidsPacks feature frequently needed items for children living in poverty or who have been through a crisis and are in need of necessities. Cradles to Crayons fulfills about 700-1000 KidsPacks a week!

We were honored to help in the process from donating and helping "shop" or putting together items requested from order sheets. We look forward to our continued partnership with Cradles to Crayons!

Cradles to Crayons Donation

Thanks to the generous support from StoneMor employees, MorInvolved was able to donate many NEW items to Cradles to Crayons for children living in poverty. Necessities, such as clothes, diapers, wipes, baby items, socks, winter hats and gloves, puzzles, books and other high-priority supplies, were purchased by our company from funds collected during our pretzel sale and 50/50 raffles.

Cradles to Crayons KidPacks

Cradles to Crayons sees a surge in KidPack requests this time every year. Their Gear Up for Winter campaign supports local children living in poverty during these cold winter months with warm essentials.

MorInvolved conducted a winter drive that assisted in helping restock their warehouse to carry these items through the coming months.


Items donated are new and like new childhood essentials: Winter Coats, hats, gloves and boots or shoes for local children in need.
